Berean Baptist Temple is honored to support these missionaries around the globe. There are many ways we as a church can be a blessing to our missionaries:

BEME LA (Counterman)- Church Planting in Latin America
Praise: Safe travels as they presented BEME in churches in Wisconsin, West Virginia, Minnesota, Wyoming, Louisiana and Illinois Praise: A full calendar of meetings and continued financial support Praise: For what God is doing in Latin America and that a supporting church is sending a construction crew in August to help in a building project of a Peruvian church starter Praise: For four teens saved and baptized at the church plant in Santiago, Cusco, Peru Pray: For Pastor Churta and his family in Peru as his wife recently lost a baby due to pregnancy complications Pray: For continued evangelism and spiritual growth for both the churches presently receiving BEME support and those which have finished support and have been entrusted to the Lord for their continuance |

Prayer: Pray that we would be able to find a candidate to plant a church in the Philippines. |
CORE Missions (Carter) - Church Planting in Remote Areas
Praise: Missions group from Ohio visited their property in Honduras and constructed an open-air tabernacle, finished other projects and will return in May to remodel bathrooms Praise: Short term missions trips planned to Jamaica, Mexico, Honduras and Canada over summer and an Egyptian tour in October to introduce people to missions Praise: The White family joined CORE missions staff on a full time basis after doing volunteer work and going on several short term missions trips Pray: For upcoming missions trips and opportunities to present CORE missions at stateside churches in between trips Pray: That more Christians will get excited about mission opportunities |
Fellowship Tract League
Praise: 10,500,000 tracts were recently distributed in India. |
First Bible International - Bible Printing
Praise: Printed over 500,000 John and Romans, New Testaments, and whole Bibles. Provided training to hundreds of ministry workers. Saw 27 professions of faith |

Muslim Outreach in New York City
Praise: Spring Break trip, attended 40th anniversary service with partnering church, visited with good friends, and experienced the greatness of God’s creation with the total solar eclipse Praise: Connecting with students and landlady through caring from a small garden in front of their building Pray: That students would remain consistent in attendance and for continued growth and more opportunities in connecting with students about their lives Pray: For Tim as he continues to study and edit materials or help with witnessing to Muslims Pray: For 22 students, specifically Muslim students, and wisdom and boldness in classes each week |
Volunteer Seedline - Bible Printing
Praise: finished 2023 with over 1 million scriptures printed in 6 languages Praise: partnering with Voice in the Wilderness Ministries to print 100,000 scriptures in both the Cherokee and Navajo languages this year Praise: Lord supplied $28,000 to put down much needed asphalt in the drive areas of their facility Pray for successful completion of the Navajo and Cherokee scripture project Pray for funds to purchase a new truck for ministry deliveries to replace their old unreliable truck |

Josue Gonzalez - Mexico Church Plant
Praises: concluded the Bible Institute class on the theme “The Christian Family”; a group of men are taking an expository preaching workshop and others have attended a conference on the topic Biblical Counseling. Prayer Requests: God will raise up more faithful men; a culture of mutual care in the church through loving exhortation; resources for the building of the church; more souls saved and discipled. |
The Joseph Family - Papua New Guinea Church PlantPraises:
In spite of the tribal fighting, the Josephs were able to send 41 teens to camp (8 got saved), complete their Sunday School building, and continue on with their school. Prayers: Pray for peace and safety for the Josephs and their neighbors in the midst of tribal fighting. Also pray for $3,000 to ship ministry materials into the country. |
The Muthui Family - Kenyan Church Plant
Praise: started construction of the new church building Praise: started Tuesday night door to door evangelism and Gospel tract distribution which has resulted in a number of people confessing Christ as Savior Pray for additional funds for the church building since inflation has increased the original cost estimates Pray for the spiritual growth of Mwanzia, Sammy, Kimanzi, Benjamin and Sheila, recent converts through the door-to-door evangelism ministry |

The Clay Family- Mali
Praise: For an encouraging trip to Togo to preach in a church where two friends from college are establishing a church Praise: Completion of Bible study classes at literacy center entitled “Who is Jesus?” to combat the many false doctrines about who Jesus is Praise: End of year awards ceremony at the Bible literacy center where 6 students were awarded Bibles and a certificate for a free year of school. Pray: That doors would open to minister in Mali after a military coup took over the government Pray: For God’s continued blessing on ministry in the Ivory Coast in the meantime |

Final Frontiers Missionary - Syria
Praise: outpouring of prayers and financial aid from supporting churches to provide for physical needs and about 10,000 Bibles to poor brethren devastated by last year’s earthquake Praise: the conversion of a 47 year-old Muslim man and his family who was hostile to the Gospel. God opened his heart as the church aided him with material needs and a Bible after he was left homeless from the earthquake Pray for 175 children of church members who perished in the earthquake and are now homeless and in dire need of food, clothes, medical care, etc. Pray for new converts, especially those from Muslim background Pray for safety, wisdom and guidance because of enormous challenges due to 12 years of sectarian war and extreme poverty with unemployment over 90% |

The Leslie Family - Croatia
Praise: 22 in attendance at one year anniversary service (started church with three) Praise: 32 team members from Baptist Couriers for Christ helped pass out 55,000 John and Romans in preparation for evangelistic conference where about 50 souls came and 3 were saved Praise: 4 people have been coming faithfully to the post conference Thursday Bible study Praise: Matea, one of three recently baptized, brought her mom from Germany to church and she was saved at the end of the service Pray: For the people who heard the gospel at the conference and those who were recently saved Pray: For urgent need of a new meeting place; current building can only seat 30 max and are averaging 25 since conference (due to being in a high cost tourist town and anti- Baptist attitude of majority Catholic population they haven’t been able to find one) |

The Minks Family - Japan
Praise for paying off the remaining $15,000 of their building loan and are debt free Praise they had several attend their annual Christmas dinner outreach in spite of a major blizzard (have had almost 19 feet of snow so far this winter) Praise that several visitors also attended and heard the gospel at their Christmas Eve Sunday brunch and worship service (substituted for usual candlelight service) Praise that their son, Gideon, who is attending college in the USA, was able to visit them for the Christmas holidays. Pray that the Lord would bless with souls saved from the various outreach efforts and the spiritual growth of those who have accepted Christ as Savior. |

Praise: Celebration of Christ’s Resurrection Praise: 31 men in attendance for quarterly Bible school at Chiyembekezo Mpingowa Baptist Pray: For our ability to learn quickly as we are studying Chichewa. Pray: For us to be a blessing to those that we are working with in Zambia. Pray: For the People of Mozambique and Zambia that God would work even now in the hearts and lives of the people to prepare them for the Gospel. Pray: For God to provide for our every need. Pray: For our continued good health. Pray: That our Spiritual lives will remain close to God, for us to grow each day closer to Him, and not stray from His will or be caught up in the snares of the Devil. Pray: For our raised support that it will continue, and that God will bless our supporting churches Pray: Pray for wisdom in guiding and directing the church and helping those affected by an individual within the church who was secretly living in sin and affecting others because of these sins. The Portillo Family - Nicaragua
Praise: Salvation of Jesus and his father Ulysses; Ulysses has been baptized, started discipleship, and jumped right into ministry, including using his electrical trade skills to support the building project (for free!)
